This decade saw three presidents. Richard Nixon served from 1969 until 1974. Gerald Ford was President from 1974 until 1977. President Jimmy Carter served from 1976 until 1981. There was the Vietnam Conflict, Watergate and the Meltdown at Three-Mile Island.  1970 Pontiac GTO |
Ronald Reagan was President from 1981 until 1989. The Invasion of Grenada took place from October through December of 1983. George Bush was elected President and served from 1989 until 1993. The Challenger Tragedy.  1980 Ford Thunderbird |
